What are the sizes of the cards that Luree's Crafts sells?

A2 Card: An A2 greeting card is 4.25 inches by 5.5 inches when folded. It is commonly used for more intimate cards, such as invitations and thank-you notes. A2 cards can be top-folded or side-folded and it has just the right amount of room for your message. 

 

A7 Card: An A7 card is 5 inches by 7 inches when folded. It is commonly used for wedding and sympathy cards. A7 cards can be side-folded or top-folded and has plenty of room for your message to your recipient. 

 

Slimline Card: Slimline cards are sized at 4 inches by 9.25 inches and 4 inches by 9 inches when folded. It is an elegant card that is used for special occasions, such as anniversaries or bridal showers. It can be side-folded or top-folded and it has plenty of room for a note to your recipient. 

 

Mini Slimline: Mini slimline cards are sized at 3.25 inches by 6.25 inches when folded. They can be side-folded or top-folded. The mini slimline is perfect for quick notes to someone when you have a few things to say. They are great for cards with themes like Hello or Just Because.  

 

Fun Folds: A fun fold greeting card is a type of card that features a unique and interactive folding pattern, moving beyond the standard bifold design to create a more dynamic reveal. These cards can be found in a variety of styles and sizes.

 

Oopsie Cards: As these cards are handmade, there may be slight imperfections. These are often unnoticeable and do not affect the card's function. They are of all sizes and types listed above.

What are the reasons for the cards in Luree's Crafts Oopsie section?

Smudges: These cards contain small spots of glue, ink, etc.

Warping: Due to excessive moisture, these cards have slight warping. 

Inferior Design: The cards do not meet design standards.

Second-rate: These cards contain inferior materials.

    Yes, once you click on an item you will see "+ See details". Click on this link and there you can click on any of the images to see them up close.

    How are the cards on Luree's Crafts made?

    Most greeting cards today are produced through a highly mechanized mass-production process using sheet-fed offset printing. Artists, writers, and graphic designers in creative departments work together to design the card's artwork and messages. The approved design is then digitized and prepared for printing. 

    Here on Luree’s Crafts, you won’t find any mechanical mass-production process. We don’t do laser cuts, assembly lines, or digital printing. Every card posted here on Luree’s Crafts is completely handmade from start to finish.

    Is there any important information regarding the greeting cards?
    • Many of these designs (folds) belong to other designers, and they in no way belong to anyone here at Luree's Crafts.
    • As available paper patterns, colors, and inks change so quickly, the final product may vary for each card.
    • The area in which the greeting cards are made is a clean, non-smoking and no pet area.

    Why aren't all craft supplies listed after the "Companies of Supplies Used"?

    The 'Companies of Supplies Used' section features branded items only; unbranded supplies are excluded from this list.

    Please let me know if you recognize any craft materials not listed in the Detail section of each card. I want to ensure the original manufacturers receive proper credit.

    Mini Junk Journals

    Are the note cards that come with the Mini Junk Journal mailable?

    The United States Postal Service (USPS) states that the minimum size for a package that can be shipped is 6 inches long, 3 inches high, and 1/4 inch thick. If the package is 1/4 inch thick or less, it must also be rectangular and at least 3.5 inches high by 5 inches long. All mailpieces must be at least 0.007 inches thick. 

    The envelope that holds the note card size, that is included with the Mini Junk Journal meets the requirements for thickness but it does not meet the length and width requirement size. The measurement for the envelope that holds the note card is 3.75 in. x 4.75 in. It must be mailed within a package or larger envelope. You could also just hand it to the recipient.

    Why don't the mini junk journals, note cards, envelopes, and bookmarks coordinate?

    Remember it is a junk journal. Junk journals don't always have to cordinate. Many junk journals are made purely from junk, such as junk mail. Being that the note cards, envelopes and bookmarks come with the junk journals, they too would be made of junk.

    Shipping & Handling

    Does Luree's Crafts except returns or exchanges?

    Your crafted item can be returned within 14 days of receiving it for store credit only. Please keep in mind the item must be in its original packaging. A return processing fee of $2.00 will be subtracted from the final store credit total.

    If it arrives damaged we will be happy to replace or refund your damaged item. Simply send an email to contact@lurees-crafts.com or use the contact form. An image of the damaged item must be included.

    How often are orders shipped?

    For all handmade crafts, orders are shipped out every Thursday evening.

    How long does it take to receive a purchased item?

    The making of the item will take approximately 3 to 5 days. Receiving a package in the U.S. typically takes 3 to 10 business days for domestic ground shipping. The exact time depends heavily on the carrier and the distance between us. During extreme bad weather and holidays, your package may be postponed longer than expected.

    We use a curated selection of products from various brands and manufacturers in our handmade crafts. However, the inclusion of any third-party product does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by us. All third-party trademarks, brand names, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
