Hi,

I live in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania, where I have been selling my crafts since I was very young. I started with pot holders on those old plastic square looms, selling a ton of them for just 10 cents each. Later, I sold tri-cam and paint-by-number paintings; then, as a young adult, I sold candy wreaths and even did some sewing alterations. I have always loved to sew, creating everything from wrap-around skirts to special quilts for each of my three children and my nieces.

My crafting passion is a lifelong pursuit, which unexpectedly blossomed in a new direction during the COVID-19 lockdown when I created some of my first greeting cards. At first, it was just a way to connect with my congregation, sending a simple small notecard to everyone as a sign of love and encouragement.

Crafting cards for loved ones unearthed a creative flair that even I found surprising. The constant stream of compliments—and the urging to sell my cards—made me realize that this newfound passion for designing cards was something I was eager to share beyond my immediate circle.

The idea of selling my cards was enhanced during a conversation with my brother, who suggested selling them online. The final piece fell into place with the help of a dear friend, who has since provided crucial supplies, invaluable guidance, and constant motivation.

What began as a simple card-making hobby in a small corner of a shared room quickly outgrew its space. As my supplies began to multiply, I moved my operations from room to room before finally settling into a new, larger area.

While I don't know what the future holds for Luree's Crafts, I am excited to see where this journey takes me. My hope is to build a high-quality online greeting card store and later expand into other crafts.

Starting this business has been more challenging than I expected, but the incredible support I've received has made all the difference. With that incredible support, I'm now excited to share my card-making—and the love and friendship that inspire it—with all of you.

Jane
